Aardman has unveiled the primary truck for Wallace & Gromit creator Nick Park’s new movement Early Man.
The teaser introduces us to courageous caveman hero Dug, voiced by Eddie Redmayne, and his companion Hognob because they track down a rabbit that may not be as harmless as it appears. It provides another spin-on the vocals being played on-screen gag, but exhibits the most common Aardman appeal with a neat final joke.
In addition to the teaser trailer, Playground revealed a whole host of British celebrities are joining Redmayne, Sport of Thrones’ Maisie Williams and Tom Hiddleston about the prehistoric adventure.
“Today we get to meet up Dug’s tribe, a lovable couple of misfits voiced by some outstanding British expertise,” he announced.
“They Are essentially several inefficient cavemen and women including Treebor, performed by Richard Ayoade, a gentle giant frightened of their own darkness; Magma, Treeboris no nonsense mother voiced by Selena Griffiths and Mark Williams as Barry, whose bestfriend can be a rock.
“Chief Bobnar, voiced by the brilliant Timothy Spall, brings the package as their long suffering head, and father figure to his group of idiotic brutes.”
EarlyMan follows Made, joined by gallant and indomitable rebel Goona (Williams), as he attempts to unite their tribe against the mighty enemy Lord Nooth (Hiddleston) and his Bronze Age City to save their home.
